Have they not way extended their threat on the 15 day period?
The 15th is the expiration date, IIRC.
I thought that the recent extension is not yet over. BTW, real terrorists usually don't bargain like they have done over and again. They are either bluffing or stalling.
But the usama 3 month truce offer on 4/14 was indeed validated by the authorities, so we know this much is true.
But one deadline -- while uncommon -- is not unusual. An extension of that deadline is unusual. I would think it would either mean that the Italian government is secretly negotiating with the terrorists or that the terorists are bluffing (not al qaeda though).
In other words, usama did hand them that truce so al qaeda is planning to and wants to hit Europe evidently, but maybe these side organizations keep butting in where they shouldn't be. The recent extension was not issued by usama.
