The recent anti-terror arrests in Britain and Pakistan have prompted speculation a senior al Qaeda agent was planning an attack on Heathrow Airport.
The man was reportedly among 12 men detained in raids across England on Tuesday.
According to reports, he was uncovered through intelligence gathered by police in Pakistan.
Planning for the Heathrow attack was said to be at an advanced stage."
Al qaeda always returns to their target. I remember flying into Heathrow from JFK in February '03 when the place was swarming with tanks and soldiers. They don't abandon their plots, as in the case of the '93 and 2001 WTC attacks.
BBC news 24 were reporting yesterday that the reason the police officers were dressed in paper suits when they arrested the pakistanis was so as not to contaminate evidence at the crime scenes.
