Yes, perhaps some cells have a "handler," and arresting this person might well yield info to the cell members but I find it highly unlikely the info would be on somebody's hard drive. I also find it highly unlikely that a "handler" would roll over very easily, unless he was a CIA/you name the alphabet agency asset to start with.
Even IF a number of cells have formed a "network" and they are compromised, that would still leave thousands (how many did I post the other night? 70,000?) of free roaming terrorists who may be charged with specific missions or free agents looking for targets of opportunity. It's just the nature of covert operations is designed to preclude exposure in such simple fashion. These guys aren't playing games of hide and seek. It's deadly serious business and if they win we lose a lot of folks. Either way, for them, it's most likely a one way trip for them and they know it, so why not go to Allah with style and enough infidel points to win the big prize?
Right in the 10 ring.
I'd bet that the goblins that are here have educated and intelligent leadership in country, anyway.
None of these guys are idiots, and could be left to their own devices.
I'd love to know what their standing orders are.
The more I think about it, the more I think the mysterious person captured may be al-Zarqawi. I'm trying to connect these dots, but I may be dreaming too.
Al Qaeda may still be plotting against U.S. - reports

The White House said on Wednesday it had received "another new stream of intelligence reporting" on Friday that contributed to the decision to raise the terrorism alert level, brushing aside suggestions it relied solely on the dated information. (snipped)

Man said to be Zarqawi captured: Reports
An Iraqi website says US forces have captured its most wanted Islamic militant, Abu Mussab al-Zarqawi.
Reports said the man was arrested in western Iraq near the border with Syria and his blood has been taken for testing in Baghdad for identification.
According a report by Xinhua, a man said to be Jordanian militant Abu Musab Zarqawi, whose Tawhid and Jihad group has claimed responsibility for numerous attacks in Iraq, was captured during a joint operation by coalition forces and Iraqi police, a Kuwait newspaper reported Friday.
The newspaper quoted a senior Iraqi police official as saying that the US and Iraqi investigators are trying to identify the captive, who was seized at the border of Iraq and Syria, and has sent his DNA sample for test.
