He said it is too powerful for them to ignore, in part because of the way Kerry keeps parading his Vietnam buddies who like him and ignoring the ones who thought he was a crappy leader and a jerk. Hypocrisy never stopped democrats, though, so who knows how it's all going to shake out. Never apologize for ranting against Kerry. :)

An NRST would require an amendment, which would also presumably repeal the XVIth to make it replace the income tax's position in law completely. Without a repeal of the XVIth, and NRST is not only unconstitutional, but also pointless.

Drudge is forgetting what Ridge said today, that this specific threat is coming from multiple sources.

Sometimes Drudge does like to over-dramatize. He keeps saying, "computer geek", "computer geek", not once mentioning how Ridge described multiple sources verifying each other.
