they won't be able to avoid it.... Look how long Blather avoided the Gary Condit story, no matter how hard Condit tried to look guilty.
The not-mentioning-the-story story became bigger new than Condit's absurd attempts to cover-up the affair with the poor, unlucky Chandra.

I'm amazed those diatribes don't happen in Austin more often. Still, this city is solidly Democrat. They wouldn't win any converts here. Good thing we've been redistricted across three congressional districts

Kerry could have handled it differently. He's a candidate for president, he had to acknowledge their presence in some manner. If he didn't, he would have been damned for that.
He could have thanked them for their service and offered to buy their meal in a non-forceful manner and left it at that.

Southeastern MA has been suffering from Eastern Equine Encephelitis for about a decade, in addition to the West Nile,
and probably Lyme Disease too.
Judy Collins lectured the crowd about getting out the vote for Kerry on Saturday night, on the taxpayer dime. How do those county/municipal free concerts work anyway.

Certainly, and he would have come off better for it. But that finger-pointing nonsense is what gets me. Kerry comes across as a condescending ass in that picture. I'm glad that serviceman of 10 years kept his cool. He certainly went up to the line and knew not to cross it.

I tracked the history of West Nile Virus in the United States and the timeline is consitent with it being Saddam Hussein's first large scale biological attack on the United States. Soldiers were exposed to the disease via mosquitoes. His soldiers, if he cared, would already have been exposed to the disease and not truly susceptible.
American soldiers, returning from theatre would have initial symptoms which would have been overlooked as a rhinovirus. As an FYI, the rhinovirus jumped from horses to man during the domestication process. American horses have been affected by West NIle Virus.
The medical authorities refuse to make the link but it is there.

Combed it at least... That photo reminds me of either "Bride of Frankenstein", or Shelly Long on an epi of "Cheers" after a motorcycle ride.
