A new film set for release from PARAMOUNT has raised the pop culture threat levels at the White House -- a film which mocks the war on terror and media urgency using puppets, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
"I really do not think terrorism is funny, and I would suggest PARAMOUNT give respect to those fighting and sacrificing to keep America safe," a senior Bush adviser told the DRUDGE REPORT this weekend.
The new fuss film TEAM AMERICA, set for release two weeks before the November presidential election, is entering post-production from with SOUTH PARK creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone
A deep voice using serious tones opens the film's teaser: "We live in a time of unparalleled danger. Weapons of Mass Destruction are being offered to terrorists all over the world. Global chaos is about to consume every country on Earth. And there is only one hope for humanity."
The senior Bush adviser, who asked not to be named, fumed after seeing the movie's official website and trailer.
"This is just unconscionable. Not funny. And I believe it makes fun of everyone in law enforcement... and in the armed services who work tirelessly to keep us safe from harm."
Marionette puppets are used throughout the film to mock terror threats, and media figures who dominate the nation's airwaves.

Well OC.. I'm a 51 year and I love South Park... To each his own. I may be an idiot... certainly wouldn't be the first time I've ever heard that..
South Park does have episode after episode mocking PC culture idiocy... But I would agree they go way over the line of good taste... very juvenile stuff at times... Other times I scream with laughter at their stuff.
Depends on what this movie is about.. I am intensly loyal to President Bush, so I'll have to check out the buzz on this one before seeing it , and wasting 10 to 20 bucks.
I will not attend a Bush bashing movie...
And Mr. Garrison smaked Rosie O'Donnel around pretty good.
Virtually every episode mocks the left. I can not think of a single one that makes fun of conservatives.
Janet Reno Easter Bunny was one of the funniest things I have ever seen in my life. Sexual Harrasment Panda.
South Park even had an episode supporting the Boy Scouts and backing up their right to organize as they please and exclude gays as leaders.
I left that out on purpose so as not to be too hard on them about the failure of their projects outside of "South Park", but it looks like someone else thought I was anyway.
Believe it or not I don't know how that happened, but you have my word that it wasn't intentional. That one sentence doesn't change a thing. The 'punk' charge stands. The fact that they poke jabs at both sides just reinforces the punk characterization. It fits with those who fence ride and are aptly labeled libertarians.
As always.... language warning at AICN.
Terrorize this!!! TEAM AMERICA trailer hits in Quicktime!!!
AICN Exclusive! Moriarty Visits Matt & Trey On The TEAM AMERICA Set!
ROTFL!
For all I know, they might be. LOL
Hoolyweed ping.
I don't believe it. I think your a lying punk.
Anything less than a circle jerk is not fence riding.
Furthermore, the trailer is terrible. Didn't show/tell much about the movie, if anything. I've never seen a more empty preview for a movie.
This far in advance of the movie, studios don't often release full trailers. This is just a teaser - there will be more trailers coming out that tell much more about the movie closer to when it actually comes out.
"Bush is a racist"--Danny Glover
"I think America has no experience with terrorism or even with war. In Europe, we know a little bit more about these things." --Peter Gabriel
"As dumb as this administration is, they don't look ahead. They don't know where any countries are...They don't really know much about anything."
"Now you have people [in Washington] who have no interest in the country at all. They're interested in their companies, their corporations grabbing Caspian oil."-- Gore Vidal
In my country the atmosphere is poisoned. Unbreathable for those of us who are not on the right. So thank you for inviting me to this festival and allowing me to leave there for a few days. -- Jessica Lange
"So when I see the American flag, I go, 'Oh my God, you're insulting me.'"
"'We're here, we're queer!' -- that's what makes my heart swell. Not the flag, but a gay naked man or woman burning the flag. I get choked up with pride." -- Janeanne Garofalo
"I believe he thinks this [war against Iraq] is a war that can be won, but there is no such thing anymore...We can't beat anyone anymore" -- George Clooney (btw, guess who bought John Kerry's mansion in Italy for $9 Million?)
"[Bush is a] sad figure: not too well educated, who doesn't get out of America much. He's leading the country towards fascism... he wouldn't understand the word fascism anyway." --Larry Hagman
"It is inappropriate for the [Bush] administration to trump up a case in which we are ballyhooed into war."
But, a few years earlier:
"...the bottom line is that I think its appropriate for the international community in situations like this to intervene [in Kosovo]. I am in favor of an intervention. On some level you have to say that at least somebody [Clinton] is doing something." -- Mike Farrell
South Park Rebublican mom here with my tatoo and piercings...
He only has two hot dogs and they made him look skinnier than he really is. In this, he looks like he's lost 200 pounds....
