COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho -- An Amber Alert has been issued by the Coeur d'Alene, Idaho Police Department requesting the assistance in locating two missing children.
The two children are:
KREM
Tatiana Exavier Seiber, four-year-old female, born June 6, 2000. Last seen wearing a purple tank top and blue denim cut-offs and is approximately two-foot, six inches tall and weighs 35 pounds with blond short hair and blue eyes.
KREM
Ford Patrick Ware, five-year-old male, born March 4,1999. Last seen wearing a black shirt with a yellow number "9" on it and unknown color shorts. He is approximately four-foot tall and weighs 50 pounds. He has blonde hair cut in a buzz cut above his eyes.
Both children were taken Thursday by a male identifying himself as "Jack" in a gold Lincoln Town car with Louisiana license plate JFP027. The vehicle is reported stolen out of Louisiana by a John Marc Thompson, 56-year-old white male, approximately 60-years-old and weighs 155 pounds. John Thompson is known to use the alias "Jack." Additionally, the vehicle has a Disney license plate in front and a rear left taillight out covered with tape. The Lincoln also has a moon roof.
The children were in the car with the suspect with the parent's permission. The suspect had befriended them while camping and identified himself as a preacher. They were all traveling to the Priest Lake area when the suspect's car did not exit Interstate 90 with the others in Coeur d'Alene and is believed to have continued east bound with the children.
If you see the children, the suspect or the car, please call 9-1-1.
Prayers for everyone but especially the children.
Who knows. I wondered in the beginning how they could just sit their and wait, I guess they didn't. I think maybe the police didn't let out all the info at first.
I can see going after them as soon as I realized they were not coming back. I think that would be my first instinct. It has been so long now, I can't imagine the parents not contacting anyone. If they found & confronted him.......? Who knows. No use in speculating. I am expecting a phone call, so I have to get off.
And protect them! Thank you Saundra
Yes thank you Alamo-Girl. Has anyone seen this on National media yet? FNC, MSNBC, or CNN?????
Thank you Texican, see you tonight, Lord Willing!
No kidding! I never realized they have to call each state and go through their red tape to get it up! That is terrible, and cost lives in cases like this since 74% die in the first 3 hours.
Thank you, I am now not only concerned about the first 2 abducted children, but the 3 in the car with the parents who were in pursuit of the suspect.
I haven't seen it yet, but I don't watch news on weekends because FoxNews quits closed captioning on Saturdays and Sundays (for most programs).
I live the Norhteast area. Very upset there is NO news of this horrific crime! Why is it being hidden from the public??
"Never let your children get in car with a new friend."
Ok, I mean really, who does this? Talk about room temp. IQ. I'm sorry, I'm usually kinder than that, but this is just so stupid it is unbelievable.
Because it's Idaho and on the other side of the country? I've not seen it on the news but it is Code Amber which is accessible from the NYPD site even.
Thank you Alamo Girl. I guess Fox News doesn't think deaf people need the news on weekends. I use closed caption so much because my neighbors can hear my TV when I don't. I didn't see it as a story on their web site.
Are you 'hard of hearing' and have to turn up the TV very loud?
I think it is because the parents are transcients and they allowed the children in the car. But that does not help these children. These Children, need our help. If this man get's away with it with these, who knows whose children will be next!
I wonder how many homeless children/transient,etc. slip through the cracks and no one ever knows when they're gone? :(
I am sure these parents have said this to themselves over and over. The police said he is a life long con-artist and is expertise at it. I don't know the parents or anyone who knows them. My concern is for all those children. They are babies.
Yes I am, I have hearing aides but don't like to wear them at home. Besides they often make things worse with collateral noises. It is congenital.
This may sound silly, but have you tried a wireless headphone set? I don't know if they even make such a thing for the tv, but maybe that would help.
Well that is exactly what that couple did...they let their children ride in the car with that man to their next destination, and he didn't turn...abducting the children.
Yes, you would think "who does this" but obviously people do, or those children would not be missing would they??
In fact, I guarantee my IQ is higher than yours or you would have understood my comment.
Well, I was thinking some more after I posted. About the time hubby let our daughter go "extended trick or treating" with the mom who lived across the way. I was at work and hubby is a little oblivious at times, I figured Jeannie was ok but we barely knew her. After some sharp interrogation from me he let on that the kid had gone in the car, for a drive, something like that with Jeannie from across the street, along with Jeannie's son and her boyfriend of the moment. I said "Did you talk to Jeannie?" "No" he said, and got a really sick look on his face. Well, we had a bad twenty minutes or so, and then the kid came bounding back. Jeannie later turned out to be not ok at all, and I once had her son, who was a sweetheart, spend the night at my house after Jeannie went wherever and the gal she left to watch him went elsewhere. One gal even moved away to avoid the responsibility of looking after Jeannie's kid all the time.
I tell you, it's stories like this that make me glad I grew up in mean old NYC. Makes you pretty on guard about people in general.
I hope & pray they find these children safe (and the rest of the people, this story is taking a creepy turn for sure).
