I can't believe the bishops wouldn't accept among their ranks a supporter of an advocate murdering helpless babies! What were they thinking?

Well gee what a surprise the Roman Catholic Church demands that its employees not work against its doctrines. These Dims are so Dim that I guess they think no one would dare go against their politically correct notions.

What's his bitch? He was using property not his own for a purpose for which it was not allocated.

To me, it looks like the Catholics have finally seen the liberals for what they are, and are reacting against Kerry. They obviously don't want Kerry representing them in DC.

An alternate delegate to the Democratic National Convention says he's been forced out of his job at the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops for his support of presidential candidate John F. Kerry. Ono Ekeh, 33, of Waldorf, Md., said his employers at the Washington-based conference accused him of using the organization's computers to moderate a "Catholics for Kerry" electronic message board...So when you get right down to it, he really wasn't forced out because he supported Kerry - it was because he was misusing his organization's facilities. Typical 'rat legerdemain: don't look at what I'm doing, look at what a helpless victim I am.........

he was asked to resign from the $54,000-a-year post

Wow, that is a tidy sum. I think the bishops have a blotted organization in Washington. I could be wrong.

I would like to have that job.

Sounds more like he was asked to resign before he got fired for using the company computer at work for proscribed employee activities.

Kind of like using company stationary for your own personal business.Just not done, by anyone, without the expressed permission of the boss.

I never posted to FR from work.
Everyone was freely allowed to browse the net for information, in their free time(excluding porn sites) but not allowed to involve the company in any way with non-company related commercial and/or political related activity.
ie- during lunch, I could shop online, but any actual orders had to be made from home or elsewhere.I could read any political website I wanted on break, but not reply using company resources.

It is just not done, in the real world for rather obvious reasons.

First, this is old news. Second, his being a delegate had nothing to do with it, as he was fired months ago. Third, way back when this actually happened, he supposedly claimed at the time that he was fired, or resigned, or whatever, because of comments he made on that chat group that criticized the bishops.

At this stage, this is just regurgitating propaganda.

He should not have been using the diocese's computers for other than diocese business. It is the same situation as using a company's computer resources for some project other than company business. It is stealing their resources.

It actually sounds like he was fired for being a jerk (a weenie girly man) more than his support for kerry.

It seems every rectal orafice claims discrimination to cover their distasteful personality.
