All light-heartedness aside, this speech fails because Kerry lacks true depth of emotion, sincerity or authenticity. It just comes across as so much talk, so many phrases. Just another politician giving another speech.
I'll tell you what I want to see...
- An ad featuring Zell Miller for GWB. Striaght talk right to the audience.
- An ad about fighting terrorists and the dangers we face, but featuring Guiliani.
IMHO no two men can speak more honestly and genuinely about what GWB really means to this country than them. I think it would be a mistake to save them for just the convention and the odd appearance on H&C.
