Hey..... I have been in the middle of patches of those things. I think they bloomed out those needles as I walked.
I was young and evidently didn't have enough sense to put on shoes.
But I learned very quickly. Those things are dangerous!!!
Did you ever see any of those little toads? Little spikes all over them, with a pointed tail. I haven'tany seen them since I left Texas.

I got yur back Lady P, I grew up chasing horny toads while running through sticker patches barefoot.
yup ... I saw those little horny toads, too - strange creatures.
