He might as well sweep in a 60 Senator majority, as long as he is having these delusions of grandeur
To: Hillarys Gate Cult
If I were the Democrats, I would have the speech writer summarily executed ...Then there gonna' have to cap JFK, 'cuz he wrote most of it.
To: Vision Thing
You must give him props for wearing an American Flag pin on his lapel. I didn't think he had the gonads to do it, but apparantly, he does. That's a good point. If he believes this election is going to be as close as everyone says it is, he is taking a big chance risking the votes of Dan Rather, Tom Brokaw and Peter Jennings.

You know, as much as I love this song, I think it's a poor choice for this moment. They should have played something more up-tempo.

Both of Clinton's speeches were delivered and accepted better. Even Dukakis knows there's no hair pollution. And poor old Fritz Mondale didn't sweat like a porn star.
Now comes "Higher and Higher," the theme song of Mamma T's pharmacopeia.

Did he ever just once even say HOW he was going to accomplish all these wonderful things? I have the sounds off so any new programs he detailed I'd love to hear about!
To: Toespi
I'd be shocked if they weren't. They *are* the party faithful, you know. JFK has to sell to people who are registered independent, people who don't yet know how they will vote. That was the mission behind this speech. The crowd is there to make it appear as if he hit a home run with someone other than what they really are.

CBS.MarketWatch.com is all orgasmic!!! Here is the string of bulletins they're were showing during the nonsensical nonsequiter blinding blizzard of bullspeech:
10:40 Kerry: I will not privatize Social Security
10:40 Kerry: I will not cut benefits
10:32 Kerry: I'll fight smarter, more effective war on terror
10:31 Kerry: I'll never hesitate to use force when required
10:31 Kerry: I will build a stronger military

It also didn't build to anything. The end was a letdown. He marched through it like a misguided general. He didn't stop for applause. His chin was sweating like a pig. And it was too long. Not a good speech, if you ask me.
