TERESA TELLS REPORTER TO 'SHOVE IT'
Teresa Heinz Kerry, wife of Democratic nominee John Kerry, told a reporter to 'shove it' on Sunday evening -- immediately after giving a speech calling for a more civil tone in politics.
Speaking to the Pennsylvanian delegation at the statehouse in Boston, Heinz Kerry delivered an impassioned plea against hate politics:
"We need to turn back some of the creeping, un-Pennsylvanian and sometimes un-American traits that are coming into some of our politics."
"I remember a time when people in political parties in Pennsylvania talked to one another and actually got things done. We have to go back to those days when we can do things properly, for the people need it."
"My prayers for you, for me, for the country, for the world, are that we keep this at a high level, with dignity, with respect and with a great idealism and courage that took our forefathers to build this great nation."
According to multiple sources who attended the event, Heinz Kerry upon finishing the speech pushed her way through the Secret Service to get to Pittsburgh Tribune Review reporter, Colin McNickle. Upon getting to Mcnickle, Heinz Kerry asks, 'Are you from the Tribune Review' Mcnickle says, 'Yes, I am.'
At this point and in an irritated fashion Heinz Kerry says, 'Of course, understandable. You said something I didnt say. Now Shove it!'
Tape of the incident is being edited to air on Pittsburgh's WTAE-TV, and, according to a media source, ABC NEWS is set to run with it thereafter.
A witness of the incident said reporters were "stunned" by Heinz Kerry's outburst, especially in light of the speech she had just given.

This woman is like a clone of Hillary.
Actually, she is more of an elitist EuroTwit. Which is anathema to the current political climate in the US. Thus, despite the structured media presentations of late, she is a MAJOR liability to Kerry and the Dims.
She must have attended the same school of "Ladies of Decorum and Delicacy" with Hillary. /sarcasm
Can y'all imagine this 'woman' as First Lady representing the highest office in the Land of the United States of America? If these two get into the White House... this country is doomed. Kerry is a doofus-dork-dolt, his wife is a stoopid, rude bitch that needs to be shown how to peel tomatoes in one of her offshore factories.
"I'm a good speculator but I'm often wrong. But my sense is there's something not right with this woman and Kerry has kept it hidden from everyone."
Hmmmmmmm!
I think if she got something like a "Hillary" cut, wore some makeup and wore more slimming outfits, she'd probably look alot classier. Everbody has potential if they just take the time and make the effort.
Yes, yes! And chaired by (drum roll)...
Man, I hate it when I find typos after I've already posted.
Darnnn it! :)
Great minds... Yup. Just got here and mirrored your same thought process. probably around response 200....

Teresa Heinz Kerry: "Just Shove It!"
Hillary Clinton: "F*ck*ng Jew B*st*rd!"
Hey, thanks! It made my evening LOL
A little non-rich working person actually dared challenge her on something she said... of COURSE she was irritated at such blatant disrespect for her status ;-)
Nobody with any substantial upbringing would build "model planes" on their f*ing living room couch! Their mothers would have beaten them to a pulp! Drug preparation I can understand. But building a model plane, give me a break.
Man, I gotta get more of these Thai-stick seeds down this doobie... Where's the bong and the wine?
You mean like Clinton did to Paul Sperry for daring to ask him when his next press conference was going to be?
I can't wait to read McNickle's editorial on this. George Will and Mark Steyn may chime in as well. That would be a "pass the popcorn" moment, no?
I don't understand her or her husband even when they are speaking English. They're kooks.
How about, "Take this John and shove it?"
Catchy, eh?
You don't suppose the Clintons would have anything to do with that, do you? Naaaaahhhh.
"Oh look John. Another little person. Must they be around all the time?"
Teresa Heinz Kerry is Pa. delegation's star attraction
Monday, July 26, 2004
By James O'Toole, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
BOSTON --
The highlight of the Pennsylvania delegation's weekend in Boston was a welcoming fete under the golden dome of the Massachusetts State House; its star attraction was the state's chief convention luminary, Teresa Heinz Kerry.
Speaking from a staircase just off the capitol rotunda, Heinz Kerry told the crowd that her time was limited because she had to head off to practice the speech she will give from the convention podium tomorrow evening. While she assured them that she had written the speech herself, the outspoken Heinz Kerry said she wasn't used to reading from a TelePrompter.
"As you know, I'm generally unscripted," she said, eliciting knowing chuckles from the crowd.
A few moments later, she offered a perfect example.
As she greeted delegates and well-wishers on her way out of the capitol building, she engaged in a running discussion with Colin McNickle, editorial page editor of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, who repeatedly pressed her on what she had meant during her remarks when she decried "some of the creeping unPennsylvanian and sometimes un-American traits that are coming into some of our politics."
Heinz Kerry repeatedly insisted that McNickle had mischaracterized her remarks in his questions. After walking away momentarily, she returned to the writer and said, "You're from the Tribune-Review -- understandable. You said something I didn't say. Now shove it."
Asked about the exchange later, McNickel said, "Mrs. Heinz Kerry has a perfect right to say whatever she wants."
In keeping with its attitude toward most Democrats, the Tribune-Review's editorial page have been generally critical of the Kerry campaign. The newpaper's publisher, Richard Mellon Scaife, is a longtime contributor to conservative causes, among them, the Capitol Research Center, a right-wing think tank that has been critical of some of the philanthropic activity of the Heinz family charities guided by Heinz Kerry.
