Kerry just 'threw' out the opening pitch at the Boston-Yankees game. Just saw Kerry pitch a really weak opening pitch, well short of the plate, bouncing under the catcher. What a poser!

John F. Kerry was in Vietnam? When? On vacation?
To: NYCVirago
I doubt they wanted him talking about it.

I'm sorry.
If I have to actually *hunt* for "the man inside", I've already answered my own question....:))

Calling the Kerry pitch a 'nice sinker.' I didn't sense sarcasm there. LOLA sinker, well, sinks -- it doesn't fly up over the catcher's head!

sutcliffe just said that kerry threw a "great slider"...please make it stop! I just want to enjoy the game!!!

This is so incestuous-- ABC News owns ESPN and Miramax. Isn't Miramax guy Affleck shilling for Kerry at the DNC Convention?
Now they have Stepphy in the booth-- ESPN is totally pushing Kerry tonight.
At least they acknowledged that Kerry got Booed. That's good, but this "Kerry is courageous" for throwing out the pitch is nauseating.
Russert has also screwed up his "impartial" tag. He is yukking it up w/ Biden and Kerry and Barnicle. This whole thing stinks.

Why does every photo of Teyrazzza prove that she just hates life? Wouldn't most women who were married to a rich Republican and then married a gigalo loser like this bozo?

Oh man, are those people ever delusional. I read some of their comments and wonder how they could be from the same planet. As a former liberal, I can say that liberalism is something those who have never been liberal can never really understand.

I doubt they wanted him talking about it. Why not? Since we've got a bleeping John Kerry infomercial for the past three hours instead of a baseball game, they might as well go for the gusto!
To: texasflower
I'll bet Kerry's Secret Service detail LOVED this! Hmmmmm. Why do you say this?

You know what would be cool?
Moving the Republican Convention to a big ranch in Texas. Huge tent, plenty of Lone Star Beer and Texas Barbecue. That's Heaven.
Simplifies security and parking isn't a problem. Not to mention you don't have to bring an entire city to a stand still for a week.

Right now, George Snuggleopholous is being interviewed on ESPN. The broadcasters are helping him to explain how politicians are ALWAYS boo-ed at ballparks. To his credit, George seems really uncomfortable discussing it.

Is it possible to check if there will be a Yankees game carried nationally on ESPN while the Republican Convention is taking place?
I hope the President attends and that ESPN will give him equal time!
To: lancer
Actually he sort of "lobbed" the ball.
You know, as though he were tossing a handful of stuff over a fence....or something......;)

You know what would be cool? Every time my teenaged daughter says that I cringe, because what follows is invariable something completely out of the question (i.e., can I have a rottweiler.)
But your idea sounds great! A BBQ and some kegs, really whoop it up Texas style.
