Kerry just 'threw' out the opening pitch at the Boston-Yankees game. Just saw Kerry pitch a really weak opening pitch, well short of the plate, bouncing under the catcher. What a poser!

Did he have his baseball cap on backwards? If he did that means he is cool.

I saw that and laughed my butt off. Dropped like a stone well short of the plate.
Additional thought, why couldn't he throw to the catcher instead of using an Afghanistan vet as a prop?

It was not a professional catcher. ESPN billed him as a soldier returned from overseas.

I just went out to get ice cream and my radio was tuned to the game. As I start the car and the radio comes on I hear this drone of constant booing and the Yankee announcers explain that Kerry has made a suprise appearance to throw out the first pitch. They said something to the effect "you can decide for youselves what kind of reaction he's getting". SWEET!!!

The Red Sox are in a daze.
Lofton turns a single into a double, then five guys can't decide who should catch a short pop-up to centerfield.
Yanks up 1-0.

Flashes have a range of maybe 12 feet. A lot like Kerry's pitch.

Unidentified reporter: Sen. Kerry, that first pitch sucked. What happened?
Kerry: That son-of-a-bitch catcher missed the sign.

He was wearing yellow polyester pants. Have not seen those since my father wore them back in the 1980's. What a spaz! I think this is something Red Sox fans, Yankees fans, and everybody else can agree on -- Kerry is a spaz! ;)

Yeah, I know. I was commenting on Senator Kerrys penchant for reminding the world that he is a vet.
