Imagine someone "clutching" a Bible in Church??? At the Church of Socialism they don't have Bibles only Red Books. If the Blacks stay home it is a vote for W which will happen!

That's part of the problem that black America has with the Democratic Party. Instead of dreaming, black America should end their 70 year association and infatuation with Democrats and return to the GOP fold. The party of Lincoln offers the best chance for real change within black America. After investing 40 years and $7 trillion in liberal government policies, its quite obvious you can't force equality on a free and open society. Its time Americans reinvested in the individual and advanced traditional conservative values for all US citizens.

Hey John..... you can demonstrate to the world the real meaning of that Scripture if you would simply tell your constituents: "I am proud to be a Catholic and am devout to my faith. I would love to be your representative in our federal government, but that would mean that I would insist on the repeal of Roe v Wade and let's finally put a stop to infanticide once and for all. I realize that this goes against my political party's platform, but my moral conviction and faith in God is more important."

A beautiful and meaningful verse when used in the pure, Biblical context.
However, not surprisingly, I remember this as an oft used verse quoted by televangelist Robert Tilton when he's trying to solicit money from his viewing audience.
Not unlike how Kerry is using the pulpit of churches to solicit votes. The lowest of the low, in my opinion.
As long as I have lived in this country (71 and 2/3 years so far, Good times come and good times go and so do bad times. People get good jobs-people lose good jobs. People find new jobs, some better and some worse than those they lost. If the jobs are worse, they keep looking for better jobs while they support themselves at the so/so job.
THe whiners sit down on their asses and mutter things like: the guvment oughta! the guvment oughta! These are the lazy and useful idiots that the Dims cater to, and take for granted. They vote democrat over and over and are too absent minded to remember that the dems are making the same promises they have been making for 75 years.

It's not clear to me who the church "hustled out" the door. For a minute I thought they ejected Kerry from the church. If not....a grave injustice was done to the man who could see clearly.
