There was a tanker explosion 100 yards [or less] from my apartment window yesterday. It was in Grand Prairie at 360 and Post and Paddock Rd, SB on the SB Service Rd pulling into a ME owned Chevron Quik-Gas-Gro.
It exploded several times [shaking the walls] and burned out the power lines causing a 12 hour blackout to all of the apartments in this area..several thousand people.
The driver [miraculously?] escaped unharmed.
I have several digital photos that I took which I will post here in a little while.
We hear about this stuff and it happens right across the street from me.
There is a large tank farm where tankers fill up about 4 miles as the crow flies due W of me which I can see from my window and balcony. I keep an eye on that...
Pictures in a little bit...
I pray everyone is taking precautions and staying safe/
