I just enlarged and sharpened it in Photoshop.

Very interesting. There is a box like you see in maps that focus in on a certain location.

In fact, the blotch is simply a smaller version of the big map to the left of Osama.

The map is of Afghanistan and Pakistan.

I must be blind, cause I don't see how the smaller map looks like Afghan/Pak! You're the 2nd person to verify this.

I think I'll study it some more. ;-)
