The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? "I, the Lord, search the mind and try the heart, to give to every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings." Jeremiah 17:9-10.
We do not take pleasure, O God, in knowing that there is unrepentant evil among men, for they shall forever be shut away from the riches of eternal life in Christ ... yet, You are not willing that any should perish. May the Spirit of God fall mightily upon those who plan evil, or put their hand to evil, or ignore evil ... may they cry out and claim the mercy granted unto all men who but call upon the Name of the Lord for Saving Grace. Thank You, Merciful Father, that for the Redeemed, this life is the only hell that will be known ... but, O God, for the unrepentant, this life is the only heaven that will be known. We plead their cause, Heavenly Father ... visit them with Your salvation while there is yet time.
Even now, O Lord, the plans of the wicked are being put forth to fool the people ... good has become evil and evil has become good. Righteousness and virtue are mocked ... we see it and hear it endless times over. Abominations before You almost become worship by the godless. We beseech thee, O Lord, to open the eyes of the wicked, that they might be awakened ... that they would be ashamed ... that they would turn away and seek Your mercy.
Forsake not Your remnant, O God, nor take Your hand of protection from our beloved nation. Stir the faithful to such power that just a few can hold back the onslaught. Do for us as You did for Joshuah and David and Gideon ... small in number, but mighty in victory, for Your hand was upon them. We despise what our ears hear and our eyes see ... we are broken in heart at the viciousness against Godly men who would lead us in the way that we should go ... we despair at the traps and snares that are set to bring our President to nothing. But greater are You, Merciful Father, than any man or any plan or any evil. We look to You for direction, for protection, for assurance, for You declare that all things work together for good, for those who love You, who are the called according to Your purpose. Romans 8:28.
While these words are still yet visible in our national life, may we cling to them for the very life of our nation, itself ... In God We Trust. May it be thus, O God, may it be thus, in the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ...
"Forsake not Your remnant, O God, nor take Your hand of protection from our beloved nation."
and Amen.
May it be thus, O God, may it be thus, in the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ...
Amen!
AMEN! AMEN! AMEN! LORD.
I add my strong prayer of agreement with all my sister has written here.
Amen.
