I concur -- W's common-sense talk resonated well with the blacks in the audience....and they probably were "shocked" to find out that Pres Bush ISN'T the "devil" he has been made out to be by the black "leadership" in the US...

Some good pull-quotes from W's speech that hit home:

(1) Does the Democrat party take African American voters for granted? (Applause.) It's a fair question. I know plenty of politicians assume they have your vote. But do they earn it and do they deserve it? (Applause.) Is it a good thing for the African American community to be represented mainly by one political party? That's a legitimate question. (Applause.) How is it possible to gain political leverage if the party is never forced to compete? (Applause.) Have the traditional solutions of the Democrat party truly served the African American community?

(2) Does blocking the faith-based initiative help neighborhoods where the only social service provider could be a church? Does the status quo in education really, really help the children of this country? (Applause.)

(3) Does class warfare -- has class warfare or higher taxes ever created decent jobs in the inner city? Are you satisfied with the same answers on crime, excuses for drugs and blindness to the problem of the family? (Applause.)

Oh no - it's a great speech. But I've heard so many black people espousing the exact same ideas as in this speech, then turn around and say they just can't vote for a Republican, or how John Kerry really cares, or some such, that I've lost faith that there'll be any significant shift in the vote.

May God Bless President George W. Bush. May he be given even more wisdom than is evidently displayed here. May he be have victories over the enemy both her and abroad. Especially the enemy that enslaves our minorities and destroys our children. May he be enabled to protect Marraige here in American; that Marraige is between one man and one woman. May he turn back the tide of activist judges who go outside or against our own consistution.

May the ememies who block justice in America stumble, fall and not recover. Espeically the enemies behind the Fillibustering of federal judges, also those who murder babies in the birth canal and on tables, and those who promote unbelief. May they blow away as chaff is upon the wind.
