Ships master notified authorities that a bomb was on board.
Ship is being escorted off the coast, will be boarded once it is far enough off shore.
Captain refusing search.
FBI on its way to meet Coast Guard.
There was prior intel on this ship.
Excuse my ignorance of nautical terms - what is the difference between ship's master & captain?
For those of us unfamiliar with nautical terms--what is the "ship master?"
I think anyone will recognize, though, that it's not a good thing when the captain refuses a boarding party.
Thanks for the updates.
"Ships master notified authorities that a bomb was on board....Captain refusing search."
I don't quite follow this. The ship's master notifies about the bomb, but the captain won't allow a search.
Including intel a Ship's captain that says he has a bomb onboard but won't let the Coast Guard search????
....truly weird....
Not to worry. Probably just a shipment of Gigli DVDs. Or The Complete Kevin Costner Collection.
