I am always amused at Freepers who can't tell the difference in an opposing opinion on one subject and a troll. It sheds a lot of light on why the mostly conservative crowd has trouble staying organized. They are not a threat to my firm stand but they frequently push the undecided to the left.

Give me someone who opposes abortion and gay marriage and I'll make an ally. Give some of these screamers the same person and they will push that potential ally into doing John Kerry's laundry for free.

FReepers verify sources. I see many on this thread blindly accepting one account without regard to other sources.

There is not as much friendly debate as there used to be on FR, it's more antagonistic. Maybe there are more liberals and RINOs infesting the place. Could be a reflection of our polarized politics nowdays, too.
