I think if some type of nuclear weapon had been found, it would have been pasted on the evening news by every alphabet channel in the country as verfication of terrorists possessing WMD.
I would take it with a grain of salt until some official type of corroboration appears, but we all know the Gov seems to reject labeling anything as terrorist related.
I'm putting together a list of those that have publicly claimed there are nukes in the US. I'm hitting a brick wall. I've found lots of reputable sources that claim "someone higher up"..."government officials"..."the CIA"..."the FBI"...etc. But as you stated, very few actual names and titles to back up the statement. I will continue my search.
my entire family on my father's side and mothers side live in Clinton IA and and surrounding Camanche, DeWitt and Andover. All this talk about threats in Chicago, LA, NY, etc. had me worried but this is comming WAY too close to home!

No pits Donna, they are like blueberries. It is quite addictive finding them in the mountains and then picking them (with spouse) and about 3 hours later seeing who got the most. It's done in solitude with the sound of the birds, elk, and chipmonks surrounding you on a beautiful sunny (or even partially sunny) day. People pay big money for therapy like this. While you are picking the berries, you have no thoughts of terrorists, or for that matter anything else but the next berry-filled bush and how quickly you can get the berries in the bag. After working for years and years in highly stressful jobs, THIS is the life.

I think that is a great idea. We have so many people posting articles. Perhaps a few people could keep track of a specific target. People want to help and I think it would be a great way. We could have our own little "TM czars." lol
I bit on a the-mom-meter when I was a kid, my mother went ballistic, mercury was a dirty word in the 60's and sometimes I wonder if it made me the way I am ;) Thanks for the post and welcome to TM!
That must have also been an old picture Donna Lee. Today they release them because of overcrowding or attorneys and judges give them a "get out of jail free card."
The NEIN report goes beyond merely claiming there are hostile nukes in the USA. The NEIN teaser suggests that we were close to losing a city, and according to some people here on the TM who subscribe to NEIN, the actaul report (as opposed to the teaser), suggests that we, in fact, captured one of the nukes near the United Nations in NYC. Again, I don't subscribe to NEIN, and so I don't know any more than what's alleged in the teaser and reported here by those who claim to have actually read the report.

I think if they found a nuke they would try very hard to squelch that info and keep it from media release...I suspect there are certain possible news stories that have to be "cleared through channels" for national security reasons or an airwave sword of damocles will descend promptly. We will read of it first...and the webpage easily might vanish.
