So what do you make of this? I think our enemies our flaunting their ability to bypass our security. This is all leaning towards the script that they have laid out recently: attack Italy, England, US, but first perform acts that will chill our blood with fear, etc.

Velveeta, I downloaded a thing called spybot that seems to find all the bad stuff on my computer. It works pretty good, but I don't remember where I got it from. Might be worth a shot? Or maybe you could just do a restore?

I have 4 computers on a network. 2 hard wired, 2 wireless.

All 4 computers are fried.

Nothing launches from the desktop. For example, I use Quickbooks for my business. Can't pull it up.

I'm beside myself.

Also, run both "Adware" and "Spybot" (make sure you update to the lastest version/files). Also run a program called "Windows Cleanup!" and a program called "CWShredder." Lastly, install a program called "SpywareBlaster." All of the programs I've mentioned are available on-line for download as freeware. Just do a Google search and you should be able to locate the download sites. The first four programs purge your system of all the garbage and nasty stuff that builds up to bog down and even take control of your PC. The last program -- Spywareblaster -- does a very good job of keeping the bad stuff from loading into your PC in the first place.
