Most muslims in northern Morocco speak fluent spanish. Just today I saw a report about spanish speaking muslims in spain.

Actually there is a difference in Catalan Spanish, that European Spanish speak, and Mexican Spanish. The Moroccans European dialect would give them away.

I read an article wher Columbians make fun of Mexican Spanish, because it is not "pure".

We will have no choice then...
Allowable torture techniques (to see if the are from south of the border):
1) See if they can play baseball
2) Can they mow a lawn properly
3) Make them name 5 foods from a Taco Bell menu

We're going to get serious about terrorists & root them out!

But I'll bet they don't speak in Mexican, or Central American accent/dialect. My daughter, who spent several summers in southern Mexico, could spot the accent from that region even when encountering it unexpectedly in a mall in Nebraska.
