Congressman John Culverson just stated he has just received informantion from Southern District U.S. Attorney Michael Shelby (Texas)that Al Quida members have been entering from our southern border and have been entering through Texas and blending into towns....He stated this was classified and he given the OK to release this information.
The congressman may be a former congress memeber, I didn't hear his complete title. He is on KFI Los Angeles now.
What?!? There's no way that any person born and raised in the Southwest would ever in a million years mistake a ME for a Mexican. There's the obvious physical differences - skin color and condition, hair texture, eyes, facial structure, hand to palm color and texture, etc. FYI, just because they both have brown skin does not make it the same hues or texture. Not to mention the fact that Mexicans don't speak Spanish but Mexican with their own Americanized phrasing. That ME accent, no matter how hard they tried to hide it, would be a dead giveaway.

It's been known for years there are cells right in Houston, yet what has he done to shut them down?
I'll say it again. Put a native born Texan on the Texas border and he'll know the difference in the first sentence. Send a BP from Minnesota down and you've got trouble.

I am. Why would terrorists risk life and limb crossing the Rio Grande or going through dessert areas when they can fly into NYC or Boston on a commercial jet and then move on to whatever destination they choose. Why adopt a Mexican name and persona which just increases your chances of getting caught. They are goign to seem out of place in muslim areas with SPanish names and out of place in Mexican neighborhoods if they cant speak Spanish. I think most people are capable of distinquishing arabs from Mexicans.
After we get hit with WMDs, marshall law will be declared and the hate-America ACLU and activist liberal-demokkkRAT judges will have to be neutralized.

I am a Cranky Conservative. I am over 30 and have long ago gone thru my "we are the world" phase. The 5 billion to Africa for Aids is a nice idea, sure I would like to help them, but we have some more immediate security needs right here in the US. I see no problem with resources being diverted to checking immigration status all over the US -
If it was recently declassified and he was told he could go public, where is the documentation? If its declassified certainly there are documents in existence. Why do we have to depend on the word of another blowhardt politician, in an election year no less?

Every town in the country is supposed to have a 'Community Emergency Response Team' in place, working with the local police...it is a volunteer team...

The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program helps train people to be better prepared to respond to emergency situations in their communities. When emergencies happen, CERT members can give critical support to first responders, provide immediate assistance to victims, and organize spontaneous volunteers at a disaster site. CERT members can also help with non-emergency projects that help improve the safety of the community.
The CERT course is taught in the community by a trained team of first responders who have completed a CERT Train-the-Trainer course conducted by their state training office for emergency management, or FEMA's Emergency Management Institute (EMI), located in Emmitsburg, Maryland. CERT training includes disaster preparedness, disaster fire suppression, basic disaster medical operations, and light search and rescue operations.
Over the next two years, the CERT program aims to double the number of participants, with over 400,000 individuals completing the 20 plus hours of training. Train-the-Trainer sessions will be held in all 56 states and territories over the next year to expand the program throughout the United States.
About three years ago the border Patrol caught 3 Mexican nationals with 2 Pakistanies and another middle easterner. I don't recall the other country. All 6 were in the car headed north. They were taken to Port Isabel detention center and that is the last news about them.
This made the news here in south Texas big time.
