Many of you, with good reason, are worried that a BUSH/CHENEY message on your vehicle makes it subject to "keying" or other damage by a leftist RAT who thinks he has the only right to express an opinion.
Here is an idea that might help. Today, I went to a local sign shop and got a good sized plain piece of magentic sign, like those real estate brokers typically put on the sides of their cars. I am making mine now, and in my case, it will go on the back of my PT CRUISER.
The benefit of this is that you can remove your sign when you park your car and keep the sign in the car.
Besides a regular bumper sticker, I'm going to make my own slogan as large as I can get it for the back of my car ---
I expect that I will get a fair share of people flipping me off. When that happens, I have a little sign in my car to hold up for them that says: KISS MY *SS.
You can laminate the signs with the thick clear tape like you use for wrapping packages to ship at the post office. You don't need to glue the letters. When you want to change the message, pull off the tape and put on a new message. Try it.
Dude, I like your style.
NEVER TRUST DEMOCRATS
Thanks for the tip. I live in Massachusetts of all places. I still won't put a sticker on my car. I wouldn't put it past a lib to run me off the road.
Good idea, I like it!
I've been doing the same thing for a couple of years.
But I wasn't worried so much about being keyed.
I didn't think it was a good idea to leave a gun locked up in a car with an NRA bumper sticker on it.
Let them try and key my car...
start selling them!! I will buy one!
If you mount one of those .50 cal Gatling guns (Vulcan?)on your roof, you can put pretty much whatever you want on your bumper.
When you want to change the message, use some denatured alcohol on a cotton cloth or paper towel to wipe it clean. Alcohol is the solvent for permanent markers. Otherwise, they are weatherproof. Plus it's easy to use a variety of colors. Enjoy!
The first time I did this is was about 7 years ago after I wrote: THE OFFICIAL CLINTON BASHING LIMERICK BOOK. On the cover was a characeture of Bill dropping his pants on Paula. (he had on boxers)
I print out the letters and words on my computer, lay them out on the sign, then put the tape or lamination over it.
I haven't been keyed yet, but I've had several stickers vandalized and my husband was threatened once by some balding, pony-tailed hippie in a Portland Starbucks.
My beloved's response was to take that car to Portland more often... he backs down from nobody.
teehee, I have a sign too!
The problem is when you park the car somewhere. The message with a bumber sticker stays there. We know what the scum are capable of doing.
A PT Cruiser? That's the last type of car I'd expect to see a Bush/Cheney bumpersticker on. I seem to recall a thread some months ago about the "gayest" cars. The PT Cruiser was close to the top of the list. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Just watch out for the oddball marxist in a Che Guevera T-shirt behind the wheel of a Ford F-350.
How about: GO LEAHY YOURSELF!
I bought a little red wagon to take to the local farmer's market so I can lug the 20 crates of tomatoes, 10 watermelons, 5 bushels of corn, etc. that I buy back to my car. There's a lot of competition for these wagons, some of which are supplied by the farmer's market organizers, and others of which belong to private individuals but sometimes get swiped or accidentally wheeled off.
My solution? Since I live in a raving liberal town, I stuck a Bush bumper sticker on it. I could probably set it out smack dab in the middle of the farmer's market all day and none of the libs would touch it! So sometimes this works to our advantage, too...
Not to say that the first one wasn't ripped off, and that since then I've been flipped off, or challenged...
I just received my Bush/Cheney04 sticker which I am placing on my mailbox so my liberal neighbors can see it, and I put my W'04 sticker on my cash register :-)
Just ordered 2 Bush/Cheney 04 magnetic bumper stickers yesterday. Thanks for the "Kiss my A**" idea to hold up at people who give me the look or finger. I will be working on that right away.
