July 13, 2004 -- WASHINGTON Some Republican activists are launching a boycott of SlimFast diet products to protest SlimFast spokeswoman Whoopi Goldberg's X-rated rant against President Bush at a New York fund-raiser for Democrat John Kerry last week. Chat pages on pro-Bush Web sites like FreeRepublic.com are posting links for complaints to SlimFast or parent company Unilever, along with reports from angry consumers about what they wrote in their complaints.

But what can we use instead of Dove? I'll give it up but soap is itchy.

From the article...
SlimFast executives yesterday didn't respond to questions about whether they intend to keep Goldberg as spokeswoman. Company president F. Daniel Abraham is a major Democratic donor who, with his wife, has given $1.2 million to groups working to defeat Bush. We need to have a Slim Fast Bonfire in front of there HQ...

I used to use Caress before Dove and it was pretty good. I currently wash my face with Oil of Olay age defying (ok, I'm a sucker for the defying hype) liquid soap. I may have to try their bar soap for bathing.

...she looks like something even the cat wouldn't drag in. More to the point, she looks like something the cat left behind in the sandbox.

Just did. My comments to Slimfast. I didn't mention I will boycott all products. I usually buy generics.
Dear Sir,
I was going to get Slimfast for my 17 year old daughter who wanted to lose weight in a sensible way. However, I'm switching to another product after hearing about Whoopi Goldberg's vulgarities at the Radio Music Hall recently. She was walking around the stage in a tawdy drunken state taking swigs from a bottle of booze. Her lewd comments about a sitting president was repulsive. Should this woman be endorsing your product? It's very clear she is not on any diet except for inebriants. It's not very funny!

Why would slim fast want her as a spokesthing, anyway? Kinda like asking someone from PETA to model your fur coats, whilst eating a Big Mac. I can't remember his name, but the founder/CEO of SlimFast was a huge Gore contributor. According to SlimFast, he had left the firm by the 2000 race, it appears that a lot of the people he hired may still be there.

"Ken's Steakhouse line of dressings are great,"
Indeed, and cheap too. Take a bottle of their Greek Dressing and pour it over chicken in a glass pan, bake at 375 for 35 minutes or so. Quick and easy and very tasty!

One would think, looking at her, that the product is called "SlimFat".

But, this is fun. Who else can we boycott? If you like, you can buy Cadbury, Shweppes, and Snapple, because the muslims in UK are calling for a boycott against them over the prison abuse scandal. I'm picking up a case of Snapple regularly now because of it and my kids really like the mango melon flavor.

Pubbie thugs Hmm. So, if I support George Bush, and prefer to give him the benefit of the doubt on many issues I'm uncertain of, I am a pubbie thug?
Sounds like a dog breed.

Not only are the people here intellegent, plus they are some of the funniest people around. A few of us are whacked on certain issues, though. You'll learn to spot them and execute an avoidance maneuver after your first few tussels with them...

Whoopi endorses SlimFast? Really? Has she ever used it?
She mainlines it...you get a better rush that way.
