sKerry & Dudwards on 60 Minutes today
observation | 7/11/04 | sunnyside

Posted on 07/11/2004 4:26:41 PM PDT by SunnySide

ooh my goodness, Leslie Stahl made the two meatheads look like chopped liver on 60 minutes tonight. If Bush weren't running for office I'd vote for Leslie Stahl as Pres instead of lunky and lumpy. She was the only person present who was articulate and forthright.

Would one of FRprs finest make a graphic where Kerry is the Howdy Doody dumming sitting on Uncle Bobs(Edwards) lap ie., paste their faces on those bodies cause that's what the two block heads resembled while trying to communicate in typical liberal circle jerk speak. Now I know why the DNC made Edwards Kerrys VP, he will litigate and run interference for Kerry since Kerry is utterly incapable of expressing himself coherently. sKerry is the Wizard of the Oz scarecrow still searching for a brain, any brain.

I wonder if Kerry has told Edwards to bend over and cough, yet ?

I imagine he left out the cough part.

Based on your account it sounds like they're already married.

LOL! I guess the honeymoon is over.

"Elizabeth Edwards is just a little bit TOO eager. She has delusions of taking over Vice Pres. Cheney's house. She is hungry for the power. Elizabeth EDWARDS is revolting...."

I didn't see that part. What did she do (say) ?

I just watched the tape and have some additional observations.
Edwards has now taken the primary role in the duo and he very aggressively interrupted Kerry a couple of times, as he felt Kerry was stumbling.
Kerry just looked at him like a whipped dog.
Edwards has a squinty look now, when he tries to convey gravitas. He looks like a mean kid, instead.
The two of them continued to touch each other during the interview-it went both ways-I guess like the two of them.
Watch Kerry's hands-he nervously twists and picks at his fingers and nails constantly.
He did the same thing on Larry King, Thursday night. Teresa grabbed ahold of his hands and literally held them down on Larry King to get Kerry to stop fidgeting.
When the wives joined them,Teresa tried to grab Kerry's hands and stop the nervous picking-but,Kerry was resistant-he swatted her hand away-in fact he acted like a little kid, refusing to hold Mommy's hand when they cross the street.
Kerry wouldn't cooperate and hold her hand and even Leslie Stahl commented on the hand commotion.
Eventually, Teresa got her way and she forcefully held down Kerry's hands, so he couldn't fidget and pick his fingers.
And Teresa attempted to promote the myth that Kerry is Irish, by saying he's wasn't a " funny Irishman."

The transcript posted earlier did not have these comments by Kerry :

Stahl- " You seem pumped up by John Edwards."
Kerry- " Oh, I am. Absolutely. He's spectacular."
Stahl- "Is some of Edwards' energy rubbing off on him?"
Kerry-"Well, I certainly hope so.
I want it to.
I love it," says Kerry.

Kerry- "But you know what, so is he. He's faaaaabulous."

"But he's definitely got energy without me, you know," adds Edwards.
"You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see a number of things.
One is that we like each other.
Two is that we we're having a great time on the campaign trail.
And three is we're good for each other."

The two Johns admitting that they have a " pre nup " with each other, the constant touching, the talk of being pumped up and rubbing off on each other, their silly giggling which prompted the Johns to punch each other's arms and touch each other's knees, will only lend credence to the rumors about these two that are flying all over the net.
Their cutesy schoolgirl giggly act is the stuff of a Gay Pride parade, not statesmen.

"Sen. Edward's son was sucking his thumb and Mrs. Kerry leaned over to take it out of his mouth. Would you rather she had let Sen. Edwards take it out? I mean, does your wife make you nervous sometimes, Sen. Kerry?”

I wouldn't expect Sen. Kerry to answer that question honestly, but just asking it would tell us something.

"What about you, Sen. Edwards. You're married. Does Kerry's wife make you nervous?"

I found this devestatingly humorous and uncomfortable. Rooney showed a picture from the photo op...and I have to tell you seeing Ta-ray-za's expression and bullying behavior towards the little four year old Edwards son would make alot of Americans cringe. The thing is, her behavior of pulling the thumb out of someone elses child's mouth would be acceptable abroad, but personal space in America is much deeper than in other countries and she was definitely encroaching.

What are they laughing about? "You know what it is, when you're happy and when you feel good chemistry, and you're at ease with yourself and those around you, and have good energy and all that, you laugh," says Teresa Heinz Kerry. "It feels good. It's therapeutic and it's happy."

Sounds like Peg and Marcy watching Al and Jefferson trying to assemble the little workmate table.
