Someone on TM posted this rumor from a high level BBC secretary and there was speculation the royals were out at sea. We never did conclude what the actual rumor was that caused national security concerns in GB. This might have been in May or June.

Thanks for the refresher. I do remember that now. I believe that info originated on another board and could never be substantiated.

I think Queen Elizabeth was scheduled to be here. Didn't she have an appearances at the Outer Banks, Roanoke
Island, and another at the Renaissance Faire there.

The appearances were scheduled months ago. I remember our SCA Kingdom was hopping jealous that the Kingdom there got her for High Tea.
