JAYNA DAVIS DOT COM

Jayna Davis, author of THE THIRD TERRORIST, is scheduled today for the Larry Elder show, guest hosted by Doug McIntyre. The time is 3pm Pacific. Then at 6pm Pacific, she will be on this thread to answer questions.

Jayna's work in exposing the Iraqi connection in the OKC bombing has been endorsed by James Woolsey, Dave Schippers, and Frank Gaffney. No, folks, McVeigh and Nichols did not act alone.

If you haven't read the book, please look over the info on the website, particularly the interview done on the Glen Beck show. You can listen to the Larry Elder show online by going to the KABC WEBSITE.

Let's try to make it easy for Jayna. Because I anticipate a busy thread with lots of comments, please use red font to ask questions.

(example)

QUESTION: Jayna, why did Tim McVeigh not rat out his Iraqi pals?

Another half hour of Jayna!

Caller:

In your book, do you cover what role Carol Howell played; she was an informant and her handler told her about a coming bomb in OKC.

Jayna:

I looked into that for years. _______ is a white separatist compound and Carol was telling her handler about _____

I haven't been able to ties one member of that compound into the commission of the crime after 7 years of research.

Andrea Streismyer was there and has left the country and was perhaps an FBI informant that double crossed the FBI re OKC but I can't tie him to the bombing.

McVeigh's defense attorneys spent millions looking into that.

Explosives Recipes Tie OKC to al Qaeda Manuals

By J.M. BERGER
Intelwire.com

Intelligence officials are now investigating possible connections in global bomb designs as evidence of terrorist cooperation, an avenue that has significant ramifications for the Oklahoma City bombing.

A U.S. intelligence forensic expert told the New York Times this week that "linkages have been made in devices that have been used in different continents. We know that we have the same bomb maker, or different bomb makers are using the same instructions."

INTELWIRE has analyzed much of the available material on al Qaeda bomb manuals in the U.S. during the early 1990s and found numerous potential links between those manuals and the Oklahoma City bombing. A 2002 indictment alleged that an alias used by Mohammed Jamal Khalifa was found on one of several bomb-making manuals brought into the U.S. in 1992 by an accomplice of Ramzi Yousef. Those manuals included detailed instructions about how to build improvised explosives, including recipes for urea nitrate (used in the World Trade Center attack) and ammonium nitrate (used in Oklahoma City), according to trial records.

The manuals included instructions on the use and handling of every major component currently believed to have been part of the Oklahoma City bomb, including ammonium nitrate, nitromethane, PETN, blasting caps and instructions on creating shaped charges for use in destroying buildings.

The manuals also contained entries on using hydrogen peroxide and aluminum powder. Ammonium nitrate, hydrogen peroxide, aluminum powder, diesel fuel and blasting caps were found at the Michigan farm of James Nichols, brother of Terry, during an FBI search around April 21, according to a criminal complaint filed in April 1995 but subsequently dropped.

The Bojinka airline-bombing plot, exposed by an accidental fire in Yousef's Manila apartment in early January 1995, resulted in the arrest of Abdul Hakim Murad (who later claimed responsibility in the Oklahoma bombing).

A spiral-bound notebook seized when Murad was arrested contained a page of instructions on the properties of nitromethane, one of the Oklahoma City bomb components, according to evidence presented at Murad's trial. Murad had used the notebook to record instructions on bomb-making provided by Yousef, who is universally considered an explosives genius.

The notation on nitromethane is located in a section of the notebook that can be dated to late December 1994, at which time Terry Nichols was staying in the Philippines, according to trial testimony.

The entry on nitromethane appears to differ from other content in the notebook, which consisted largely of shopping lists for the Bojinka plot and notes on the manufacture of chemicals specifically used in that plan, as described at length during Murad's trial. Nitromethane was used in the Bojinka plan, but not as a primary explosive material, according to trial testimony and classified documents cited in Seeds of Evil, a 2004 book on al Qaeda by CNN correspondent Maria Ressa.

The basic idea for the Oklahoma City bomb is widely thought to have been inspired by the racist novel "The Turner Diaries," which describes white supremacists using an ammonium nitrate-fuel oil bomb to blow up FBI headquarters. According to Peter Lance, author of 1000 Years for Revenge, Ramzi Yousef employed a similar ammonium nitrate-diesel fuel oil bomb in a thwarted attempt to destroy the Israeli embassy in Bangkok just a few months earlier, in March 1994.

McVeigh and Nichols followed the "Turner" blueprint closely, but the choice to replace fuel oil with nitromethane was a deviation that made the bomb more powerful. The specific recipe appears to have been first used in Oklahoma City.

Subsequent to the Oklahoma City bombing, ammonium nitrate bombs became a favorite weapon of al Qaeda, and have frequently been used in attacks connected with Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, one of the Manila plotters.

A bomb manual found in Afghanistan contained a recipe for an ammonium nitrate-based bomb marked with the handrwritten notation "Was used in Oklahoma," according to the New York Times.

I remember at the time, shortly after the disaster, Clinton remarked that this was a real lift to his Presidency.

Doug, do you remember that? Clinton was ecstatic!

Also in my files (that got destroyed by Virus a few years ago) I had info on a retired Military man of high rank, a explosives expert who came to the conclusion that there was NO way one bomb could have done that damage.

Do you remember that?

It is ironic that the OKC bombing was never fully investigated, and was actually thwarted. It is ironic that the chief player in the thwarting was very probably the same person sitting on the 9-11 Commission with the intent to making sure that investigation does not connect certain dots. Jamie Gorelick.

==========================
Andreas Strassmeir is the John Doe #2 and that once the authorities realized it was one of their operatives who they were looking for, they ceased the search and covered it up by denying any evidence to another person. I am inclined to agree with that summation.

Having been in Oklahoma City on the day of the bombing and for several days thereafter, I can attest to the fact that there were many anomalies which took place at the time. The reporting of a second and third bomb that took place and was later swept aside; the search for John Doe which was summarily aborted; and the failure of the federal agents to seek out...

Clinton saved his presidency with the OKC bombing. He blamed it on right wing hate talk radio and Kool-Aid drinkers would defend him no matter what. It was brilliant, albeit evil.

Iraq: Lynchpin of terror war (OKC bombing and WTC 1993 connection)
World Net Daily ^ | 4/15/2004 | Joseph Farah

Posted on 04/15/2004 9:24:54 AM EDT by wjersey

President Bush finally made it clear in his news conference this week – Iraq was and is a central campaign in the war on terror.

He could do the nation a great service by brining attention to the enormous and growing body of evidence that points to direct Iraqi involvement in planning and approving terrorist attacks on the United States – before Sept. 11, 2001.

It's no longer difficult to make a case that Baghdad under Saddam Hussein was technically, legally and morally responsible for the airline hijackings and the destruction America faced that day.

There is even stronger evidence of Iraqi links to two previous acts of U.S. terrorism – the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Building in Oklahoma City and the first bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993.

Is this the stuff of conspiracy-mongers? Tell it to former CIA Director James Woolsey, who told the Wall Street Journal "when the full stories of these two incidents are finally told, those who permitted the investigations to stop short will owe big explanations to these two brave women. And the nation will owe them a debt of gratitude."

He was referring to Jayna Davis, an investigative reporter in Oklahoma City who lost her television job due to her determination to follow the trail of an Iraqi-Islamic terrorist connection to the bombing, and Laurie Mylroie, a distinguished author who sees Iraq's hand behind Ramzi Yousef and others imprisoned for the first attack on the World Trade Center.

In Davis' new book, "The Third Terrorist: The Middle East Connection to the Oklahoma City Bombing," published by WND Books, Davis identifies another suspect – John Doe No. 2 – originally sought by the FBI in Oklahoma City as Iraqi Hussain al-Hussaini. She says she has more than 20 witnesses who can place him near the federal building on the day of the bombing or link him to other parts of the conspiracy.

Later, Hussaini moved to Boston and got a job at Logan Airport. But he quit his job in 1997, four years before planes from there were hijacked on Sept. 11, 2001. He reportedly said, "If anything happens there, I'll be a suspect."

Gee, I wonder what he was thinking about?

While Timothy McVeigh was executed for his role in the bombing and Terry Nichols is in jail still facing murder charges in the attack, evidence introduced in their trials supports the Iraqi theory. An FBI report records a call a few hours after the bombing from Vincent Cannistraro, a retired CIA official who had once been chief of operations for the agency's counter-terrorism center. He told Kevin Foust, a FBI counter-terror investigator, that he'd been called by a top counter-terror adviser to the Saudi royal family.

Foust reported that the Saudi told Cannistraro about "information that there was a 'squad' of people currently in the United States, very possibly Iraqis, who have been tasked with carrying out terrorist attacks against the United States. The Saudi claimed that he had seen a list of 'targets,' and that the first on the list was the federal building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma."

In her book, "The War Against America: Saddam Hussein and the World Trade Center Attacks," Mylroie says the bomb was designed to topple the North Tower into the South Tower and envelop the scene in a cloud of cyanide gas. Hussein is responsible, says Mylroie. At the very least, she says, Hussein is harboring a wanted terrorist, Abdul Yasin, one of several suspects who got away. He came to the U.S. six months before the Trade Center attack and is charged with helping mix chemicals for the bomb. Picked up in an early sweep after the bombing, he talked his way out of an FBI interrogation and turned up back in Baghdad.

Mylroie insists the bombing was "an Iraqi intelligence operation with the Muslim extremists as dupes." She says that the original lead FBI official on the case, Jim Fox, concluded that "Iraq was behind the World Trade Center bombing." In late 1993, shortly before his retirement, Fox was suspended by FBI Director Louis Freeh for speaking to the media about the case – he died in 1997. Mylroie says Fox told her that he did not continue to pursue the Iraq connection because Justice Department officials "did not want state sponsorship addressed."

Yousef was later arrested, and a laptop computer seized in the Philippines showed plans to hijack airliners and crash them into strategic buildings in the United States. Yousef and Nichols were in the Philippines at the same time – and Nichols wasn't just visiting his wife's relatives. While there, he was in frequent contact with Ernesto Malaluan, a relative of his wife who had once lived in Saudi Arabia and owned a boarding house in Cebu City. The boarding house reportedly "shelters students from a university well known for its Islamic militancy."

Philippines law-enforcement officials also suggest there was at least one meeting between Nichols and Yousef. They have a statement from Edward Angeles, said to be one of the founders of the Abu Sayyaf, an al-Qaida ally. Angeles was assassinated in 1999 by unknown gunmen.

Saddam Hussein provided financial and logistical support for al-Qaida for at least 10 years, according to terrorism expert Yossef Bodansky, author of "Bin Laden: The Man Who Declared War on America." He was supporting al-Qaida prior to Sept. 11 and post-Sept. 11. President Bush needs to defend his policy in Iraq. There's a persuasive case to be made that Iraq is the lynchpin in the war on terrorism. The U.S. government was systematically involved in covering up acts of Middle East terrorism leading up to Sept. 11. Now it's time to end the cover-ups and let the American people know the truth.

I was home sick that day and for about an hour heard the description of the ME man/men they were looking for. By the time my husband got home, they were no longer broadcasting that.

Jayna:

Not one Iraqi ex national was questioned. Even though there were eye witnesses who signed sworn statements.
