The previous report "The Feds threatened L.A. radio station KFI?" has been partially confirmed.
According to today's John & Ken show (KFI-Los Angeles), a press secretary at the White House has contacted Ray Lopez, John & Ken's producer, and asked them to stop giving out Asa Hutchinson's phone number. Asa Hutchinson is the DHS Undersecretary responsible for immigration matters. No mention has been made of whether the threat to ban KFI reporters from DHS press conferences stands. However, the fact that the White House is now complaining strongly indicates that the call mentioned in the earlier post was not a hoax.
Apparently Asa can't get his work done because of all the calls from KFI listeners complaining about lax immigration enforcement.
Perhaps if they listened to the vast majority of citizens they wouldn't be facing this problem.
Thankfully, John & Ken don't appear to be giving in.
The White House has offered an alternate email address for Asa, but it apparently is just an unread drop-box.
Could this invasion from Mexico, complete with plans of amnesty and voting rights, be setting the stage for the dashing George P. Bush to enter the political ring in maybe 2012? By then half of Mexico will be here to vote for him.
I don't know if he's a socialist, I would guess he benefits from illegal labor (seems like that would be an UBER_CAPITALIST). He's much too passionate. There must be something personal here. IF he lived in a border state his opinion would mean he is one of many who are causing the problem by perpetuating it. (i.e., not holding the FEDS responsible).
I think you're on to something.
LOL! My dear Watson... I think you have stumbled upon something !
First illegal immigration is a problem allowed by everyone except the Bush Administration, now it's not even a problem. Poor Dane, in over his head a bit I'd say.
It is your fellow Californians who elect Senators who do nothing about the problem.
Yes they are part of the problem. They would vote for instant amnesty in a heartbeat, while Bush makes a proposal that addresses the problem, not as draconian as you would want, but not the instant amnesty your two high profile Senators would vote for, and yet all your animus is towards Bush and not the Senators from your home state.
JMO, Joe, you are being the fraud here.
Agree....
While *millions* flood into North Carolina, Indiana, Texas, Tennessee, Colorado, Arizona, Florida, Utah, Washington etc etc etc..
"Give me what I want, or I swear I'll use it, and then you'll be really sorry!" |
This is one of the reasons that the White House will not enforce our immigration laws. "Supply and demand" has been thrown out the window.
Another reason is "Political Correctness". We can't hurt anybodies "feeeeelings".
You guessed wrong, hombre(just tweaking your nose there).
All I am trying to convey is that you have to channel your anger into more constructive and less hyperbolic ways about this subject and not instantly blame Bush.
Bush came out with a proposal that is not blanket amnesty(I know, I know, it will always be blanket amnesty to you) but it addresses the problem, unlike the demos, yet your animus is towards Bush and not the demos.
JMO, but your thinking is misguided.
He's here...
California is affected the most and what have your elected senators done?
Your country thanks you, as I do.
Thanks for the e-mail link Joe, and keep the fire burning on this topic.
My pleasure. The problem is, the feds sit on this time bomb year in year out. Eventually, the problems caused by this epic lawlessness will continue to escalate, to the point where it will get very ugly.
Even our votes have been compromised and undermined by massive voter fraud. It's a disaster.
President Bush's amnesty is more of what we were promised when we did the Reagan amnesty.
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me....
That is so true.
Really? Huh Reagan signed on to blanket amnesty, which Bush's proposal is not.
By the way, what state ARE you from?
