Is Edwards the right choice as VP?
Mr Kerry announced the selection in an e-mail to supporters and made it official later on Tuesday at a rally.
Senator Edwards, a former rival of Mr Kerry's, was the favourite among several Democratic candidates.
Do you think John Edwards is the right choice? Would he make a good vice-president? Is this a boost for the Kerry campaign? Send us your views.
They have a poll you can freep and a place to submit letters

I think the bigger question is, 'What were the democrats smoking when they picked John Kerry as their candidate?'
He's as exciting as two day old oatmeal.
He's the best they got...lib to the core and no kiddie porn in his past.
Picking Edwards risks a ticket that is perceived as being "upside-down". Edwards-Kerry makes more sense than Kerry-Edwards.
I still think they're trying to trick us. Wait and see, it's going to be Hitlery!
When it is exposed that John Edwards had attended sex parties while his wife was giving labor to their son, he will torpedo this ticket.
YES, it is !
We need more laweyrs in the government...
In any case, he's a second choice....
I am taking the liberty to post this reader's comment on the BBC:
"Edwards has charisma...but little else! He's only been in politics for a little over 2 years. Prior to being a Senator he was an Ambulance chaser (ie. Personal Injury Attorney).
To think he might be one heartbeat away from being our President is a dim prospect. Let's hope he doesn't see the inside of the White House "
NOT "I still think" BUT "I still feel"--- Thinking requires reasons.
What's wrong with Lawyers?
HMO - brace yourself !!
Edwards isn't the right choice because Kerry isn't the right choice...
I suppose you're one of Them... ?
Well, it's not as if Kerry had a pool of winners to pick from in the first place.
Evidence of that?
I love my attorney. It's all the other ones who are ***holes ;-)
Comprehending jokes requires a sense of humour!
With less than four years in the Senate and no other public service, John Edwards is the least experienced major-party candidate for President or Vice President we've had in the last century; possibly the least experienced in our history. At this time of war, can we really afford to have a novice leader one heartbeat away from being Commander in Chief?
Would like more details about this when you get a chance. Freepmail if you'd like!
