I heard O'Reilly say that Cheney's negatives are way high. Why? What and the word has the man done to get negative press? I am dead serious. I don't see why Cheney is being maligned.

From what I heard, he misses his family, his health, and wants to go back into the private sector.

I wish I could remember the last time O'Reilly was right about something.

Cheney has high negatives because the Bush campaign is running the most inept incumbent's campaign since his father's in '92.
Years of unanswered lies have conditioned the minds of those unlike us who are not junkies and who do not follow politics closely. You simply cannot play defense and win. You cannot rely on the power of tv ads to carry the day against the media tide. There must be a coordinated, relentless campaign from inaugeration day to drive, drive, drive on offense.

I don't see why Cheney is being maligned. Three reasons, Rintense.
One: Extraordinary propaganda relating to Halliburton, his former company, and the various cost-overrun, war-profiteering and corruption charges against it.
Two: His staff's alleged role in supposedly outing the identity of CIA agent Plame.
Three: His secretive energy task force, which is under new scrutiny and the target of a lawsuit.
Lets just say that he is to the left what Ted Kennedy is to us, i.e. a lightning rod.

I do. The Demonrats and their operatives in the press want Cheney eliminated. The reason: Cheney will roll over any opponent they can come up with. If they are tempted to play their little games during the debates, fire and brimstone will be their fate. Cheney will send these little chumps into orbit and they know it.
It is fortunate for us that they are too stupid to realize that this is a man's game and it is already checkmate with only a few moves. With John Edwards, Kerry will have a loose cannon on deck. After the debates, Edwards will have so many screws kicked loose it will sink the ship. Oh what fun this will be to watch.
