I'm not sure that a "eureka" moment is over the top. The concept of the deliberate blockage of excape routes is disconcerting. The reaction was appropriate for someone who grasped it for the first time.
upon rereading the thread, i somewhat agree. goethals is not a major thoroughfare for manhattan, however, and it would kind of make not that much sense for AQ to target it under the aegis of blocking escape routes.
