I will never forget that the State Department effectively called Putin a liar when he came to Bush's defense over the "no link" crap. They said they never received anything from Putin about it.
As if any information that mattered would go through the State Dept. We need to ditch the appeasers and put the defense dept back in charge of foreign relations.
