FBI urges vigilance for July 4

WASHINGTON (AP) -- A constant stream of intelligence indicating that al Qaeda wants to strike the United States this summer or fall has led federal officials to urge increased vigilance during the Independence Day weekend, but there is no specific threat of an attack timed to the holiday.

This is one area where a literal reading of the constitution isn't going to help us much, except the part about suspending habeas corpus. Article I, Sec. 5, cl. 1, for example, requires a majority of the members of each house as a quorum to conduct business. The Constitution is silent as to what happens if a quorum can't be obtained due to massive casulties. And while the XVII Amendment allows the chief executive of each state to appoint a temporary member to the Senate, in the event of a vacancy, until the people of the state can elect a person to fill the vacancy, Art. I, Sec. 2, cl. 4, provides only for an interim election to fill vacancies in the House. In the worst case scenerio, Congress lacks a quorum in one or both houses to conduct business, and the ability to appoint temporary replacements to the Senate and elect temporary replacements in the House is impractical if not impossible. In my opinion, most of the members of the house and senate, regardless of party, are pretty much worthless slime and of little value, particularly during a time of crisis. Unfortunately, the Constitution does not require courage, brains, leadership, and selflessness as qualifications to hold office.

FWIW- that Aussie Bloke rumor has resurfaced and a nuke detonation is predicted by him for the US around July 15th- mid sized city...

The thought has also crossed my mind that this guy was just one of many who many have been dropped into "enemy terroritory," but like in many invasions, casulties are expected during the landing process. What really bothers me about the entire event is the silence of Homeland Securty and local LEO's. I'LL SAY THIS AGAIN: THERE IS ABSOLUTLEY NO LEGITIMATE REASON WHATSOEVER FOR ANYONE TO GO SCUBA DIVING SOLO IN THE HUDSON RIVER IN THE MIDDLE OF FEBRUARY WHEN THE RIVER IS COVERED WITH A FOOT OF ICE. When you combine what I just said with the fact that the Hudson River has been one of the most strategic waterways in the Country since colonial times, one really has to wonder what is going on here. The most obvious is the Indian Nuclear Power Facility. We also have West Point Military Academy. Not so obvious, however, are the aquaducts for the NYC water supply system, which pass under the Hudson River, as well as the Marcy South Power lines, which also pass under the river to feed excess power to NYC and surrounding areas from hydro and nuke plants along the Great Lakes and St. Lawerence River. Indian Point, West Point, the aquaducts, and Marcy South are all within 20 miles or so of where the mystery diver was found.

Also, around the same time frame, another dead diver surfaced in a different area, and a live diver was seen twice in Hawaii- restricted area- carrying an object.

I wonder about the divers we did not find, dead or otherwise

The globalists will take advantage of the crises they have staged and we will once again

be caught more or less flat footed, many hours and dollars short. And their people will be in as replacements through whatever means.

"Twin Cities" is another name for the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge area; particularily Larkspur, CA....

Al Queda Militant leaders: "There will be attacks when they least expect it"

The powers that be have made widely publicized statements that they are concerned about the increased risk of terrorist attacks during the 4th of July weekend, the Democrat Convention (July 26-29 - Boston), the Republican Convention (Aug. 30 - Sept. 2 - NYC), and the Olympics in Athens, Greece (Aug. 13-29).

The above dates might be the least likely times to expect an attack.

We know that every time the authorities have raised the threat level or warned of an increased threat, as they did for this past 4th of July weekend, nothing has happened. Not only has nothing happened (at least nothing that we know of), but every time the Feds warn of something and nothing occurs, it decreases the likelihood that the public will take future warnings seriously.

Although I do expect problems at the conventions in the form of protests, I expect security to be so tight that terrorists might not want to risk failure because of the additional security.

So I think it's more likely that terrorists would attack on any day that we're not focusing on that particular day as a day of increased risk. I also think it's more likely to happen on a week day rather than a weekend......catching more people going about their daily activities. It will come out of the clear blue, when we're least expecting it.
