FBI urges vigilance for July 4
WASHINGTON (AP) -- A constant stream of intelligence indicating that al Qaeda wants to strike the United States this summer or fall has led federal officials to urge increased vigilance during the Independence Day weekend, but there is no specific threat of an attack timed to the holiday.

I wonder if the document that StillProud2BeFree is translating could be considered a "release" of that type.

I got it!! I got it!! The question is: What song did crooner Ritchie Valens sing for his then-girlfriend!

What do I get? What did I win? I want the CASH! I'll take all the CASH!
Just returned from a trip to New Mexico for a family reunion. Saw dozens of deleted posts on the last thread. What was that all about? Mr. RR is hungry and I don't have time to research all the several thousand posts since I left. Just a brief synopsis by PM would really make me happy. Any volunteers?
I was news and computer deprived.....but the margaritas almost made up for it. I hated missing out on everything...but every time I even looked at a computer in the hotel business rooms, I was given the old "rolling of eyeballs" treatment from my family. You TM'rs know what I am talking about.
Let me hear from you.............anyone???? Thanks.
Lancelot: We were in the nick of time. You were in great peril.Sorry, a little levity is necessary sometime. BTW, it's good to be back. I just got caught up on the thread after trying to sneak in reading all day long at work. LOL!
Sir Galahad: I don't think I was.
Lancelot: Yes, you were. You were in terrible peril.
Sir Galahad: Look, let me go back in there and face the peril.
Lancelot: No, it's too perilous.
Sir Galahad: Look, it's my duty as a knight to sample as much peril as I can.
Lancelot: No, we've got to find the Holy Grail. Come on.
Sir Galahad: Oh, let me have just a little bit of peril?
Lancelot: No. It's unhealthy.
Sir Galahad: I bet you're gay.
Lancelot: No, I'm not.
Darn. I knew that al-jazeera openly endorsing kerry was too good to be so true! A followup post from someone on that thread I posted proves that the post was not exactly accurate. Here is that post:
"Dude - that's a REUTERS article. See the bottom of the page.
al-Reuters, to be specific. Just PUBLISHED by al-Jazeera."

I don't know. I'm sure if I found out the truth I'd be terrified!
Sorry...knocked offline by a storm. 5th storm in as many days.
I am wondering the exact same thing about SP2BF's latest translation. It reeks of a pre-released statement.
You know I wrote "kidding" in my first post to you about the gangbangers term and I see now that it is not there. It was supposed to be there right before the smiley. I think I inadvertently hit the "insert" key on my laptop and typed over it at the end. I am always hitting that key by mistake, oh, about a billion times daily.
I am typing for awhile and then I go to add some additional thoughts to something I typed earlier or I am making a correction and then I look up to see a very abbreviated version of what I thought I wrote! It is the dreaded "insert" key accident again.
Yes ma'am it sure has.
How odd... I have a slightly different problem. It's called insert "foot".
Ping to you jerseygirl and anyone else to go immediately to StillProud2BeFree's post #1857 if you have not already.
BUMP
I suffer that as well!
Isn't this surporting terrorist...
Madison Considers Sister-City Relationship With Palestinian City
MADISON, Wis. -- Supporters of a controversial sister-city relationship between Madison and the Palestinian city of Rafah are expected to delay a city council vote on the issue tonight.
The sister-city project wants to create a formal relationship to support Rafah, a city beset by violence, suffering and conflict with Israel.

It looks like they've got enough sister cities already. Cuba, fer cryin' out loud.
Yeah, but I have big feet.
BTW, that is right on topic you know. Castle Anthrax, and all that...
