Yeah, a Ford Explorer almost rolled in front of me the other day, simply trying to change lanes. The highway was going from four-to-three lanes, and a semi was trying to pull into the remaining lanes. The guy in the Explorer was driving too fast, and changing lanes too eradically, and he and the semi were about to try to occupy the same space (lane), which is another violation of the laws of physics that brings serious consequences. The Explorer saw the semi in time, but jerked the vehicle into the next lane a bit too abruptly. It started a side-to-side oscillation which looked like it would amplify into a rollover, but the driver (more by the grace of God than by his own driving skills) smoothed it out, and we all continued down the road without seeing another SUV-related accident.
Too many drivers on the road drive in an unsafe manner. Most of these are young 20-something males who weave in and out of traffic at speeds exceeding 80 miles an hour. They usually drive in pairs (two vehicles playing some stupid game of "tag"). Frankly, I'm all in favor of allowing these meatheads to kill themselves, and thereby eradicate themselves from the genepool, but they invarible take someone with them when they do.

(Fortunately for those of us with the larger-mass Exploders and other SUVs ;-)
