The most significant offense that movie commits is to cheapen the political debate by dehumanizing the President and presenting him as a cartoon. Yes, MM has forced the left to debate from this position which is even further to the left and more bereft of rationality than Howie Dean had already pushed it. MM is a suicide bomber who's jacket went off in his own home.

What do Michael Moore and the Al Queada have in Common?
They hate What America Stands for.

It is clear to me from the tenor of the film's off-screen commentary by Michael Moore that he would have denounced WW II.Not quite. Moore would have opposed U.S. intervention only up to the moment Hitler attacked Stalin.

We currently are fighting the battle against a minority of fundamentalist Islamists whose objective is to destroy Western civilization. It's 1939 and we are all Jews.

Before a delighted Cambridge crowd, Moore reflected on the tragedy of human existence: 'You're stuck with being connected to this country of mine, which is known for bringing sadness and misery to places around the globe.

I'm not surprised. Where I hail from, if a fellow is both Jewish and over the age of 65, the chances are almost infinitesimal that he is a fool about anything. (Excepting always women.)
