Well, I think it was Jerry Reed. Like I mentioned in an earlier post, I could very well be confusing him with another musician.

I'm not a huge fan of country except for some of the old-time classics, e.g. Johnny Cash, Jean Shepherd, Charlie Daniels, etc., and some of the more out there, outlaw-type artists, such as the Flying Burrito Brothers and the 'Kinkster'.

Personally, I've always enjoyed the humorous stuff, though that's just my own opinion.
