An anguished Long Island artist leaped from the roof of her aunt's 12-story Chelsea apartment building yesterday and the aunt, a famed legally blind photographer, snapped pictures of the death scene because she documents every day of her life on film.

LonGuyland Sick story.
Wonder if the aunt inspired the jump, either from a long history of abuse, or a sudden urge to push the envelope (so to speak) for the great pics?
It's Bush's fault - if only he'd rammed his 'Mental Health Care' initiative through Congress sooner!...
"How can a legally blind person take photographs?"
They can do it, but it's illegal.
If you find someone who knows, ask them why they have those braille bumps on the buttons at the drive-thru ATM.
Maybe insensitive but I doubt that they would be wrong.
Sure they do. I threw myself off a chicken coop once. Just like always, I landed in some deep sh!t.
You know, that's an excellent question.
"Ahh, the composition's all wrong on these photos! Can someone throw her body off the roof so I can get some better shots?"
If a husband speaks in a forest and nobody hears him is he still wrong?
If Michael Moore leaped to his death from a tall building, it would create an earthquake of untold magnitude
Sick beyond words.
I don't have the stomach to read the rest of the article.
Last year in the Twin Cities a mom threw her twin babies off of a bridge into the Mississippi river and then jumped in after them, all the while yelling, "freedom". She did it in front of thousands of festival goers.
We're trying.
I hear that Moore's planning to do a remake of 'The Blob' - he will, of course, be all over this one, too!
He is if he doesn't want to sleep on the futon.
I think you're getting close. That is one sick woman.
Legally blind isn't the same thing as blind-as-a-bat can't see anything at all, need a dog . I had a ladybuddy who was legally blind, but drove everywhere herself, no problem. I'd have never known, if she hadn't told me.
One word: autofocus
"Legally blind isn't the same thing as blind-as-a-bat can't see anything at all, need a dog . I had a ladybuddy who was legally blind, but drove everywhere herself, no problem. I'd have never known, if she hadn't told me."
Maybe the definition of legally blind differs in other states. Here it is 20-200, which is what my eyes are without glasses. I couldn't even imagine driving without glasses!
Well, actually I can imagine it. I'd be staying in the middle of the road by bouncing off of the stuff parked on the sides. Until, that is, I hit something coming the other way.
schweet!
