An anguished Long Island artist leaped from the roof of her aunt's 12-story Chelsea apartment building yesterday — and the aunt, a famed legally blind photographer, snapped pictures of the death scene because she documents every day of her life on film.

"I'm legally blind, so I'm lucky I couldn't see Susan's dead body."

OK - I am wondering how she "remembers everything" by taking pictures. She definitely can't reminisce alone.

This story has so many possible angles for comment and possibly ridicule I literally don't know where to begin. Probably a good thing since almost all of my observations would be very very wrong...probably not as wrong as taking some goodbye snap shoots of my niece as she lay embedded in the sidewalk, but wrong none the less.
