Bill Clinton's greatest fear was losing Chelsea's love
New York | June 22, 2004 2:46:57 PM IST
As former American president Bill Clinton is coming out of the closet with his new book "My Life," he has revealed that more than anything else he was scared that his daughter Chelsea would never be able to forgive him for his affair with Monica Lewinsky.
According to The New York Daily News, Clinton, who has been giving several interviews prior to the June 23 release of his book, said on the American show "60 Minutes," that losing his daughters love was what scared him the most as he admitted to the Monica Lewinsky affair.
"I was afraid that I would lose my daughter's love and respect. You know, my daughter is a remarkable person. But sooner or later, every child learns that his or her parents are not perfect. But this was way beyond that, and it was a big dose to swallow," he said.
Clinton also revealed that lying to his wife was even more painful because she had implicit faith in him. He also said that the night he finally came clean about the affair was the worst in his life.
The report also quoted Clinton as saying that he hated the nick name Slick Willie and that, saying that he had been unable to inhale when asked if he had ever smoked pot had been an inappropriate choice of words, which he now regrets. (ANI)
Ahhhhh, retail...godd times, good times!
"The report also quoted Clinton as saying that he hated the nick name Slick Willie"
Since he hates it so much, Klintoon is from here on ever after branded "Slick Willie" and I will refer to him in no other way.
Dan Blather.
I really don't understand why he's still around. He's so shallow and petty. But back to the Bent One:
Clinton should have been toast if the lamestream media had one honest person in that crowd.
I'm not sure what Slick Willy's biggest fear was: The lamestream turning on him, or the threat of Arkancide not
working on his underlings.
With Chelsea? I bet the worry was that she would stop playing whore to her pimping parents when the next
scandal needed a "family moment" distraction.
Clinton's greatest fear was losing the presidency.
The Commander in Chief of the most powerful nation in the world spending huge bulks of his time in counselling. Whatever.
It's all about him, as usual.
What he should have been more scared about was compromising the security of his country through his perfidious acts!
But then, that wouldn't be about him, would it?
"Bill Clinton's greatest fear was losing Chelsea's love"
Sounds like he is admitting that he sexually molests his daughter. I'm not at all surprised.
Right.
Because that would really LOOK bad.

Does that explain the incessant hand-holding the two of them did throughout his Presidency?
That was her idea. She didn't want him to show her how he grips a bowling ball.
Why should Chelsea stop loving Slick Willie over Monica, How about Paula , Broaderick the rapes and molestations.
At least Monica was a consenting participant.
Don't worry Bill, she's clearly as dim as her mom when it comes to realizing that you're just an ***hole.
Ah, sure.
Yeah. Right.
Let's see the WH appointment book about those "couseling" sessions. Who was really there?
What was he really doing during those times? Bowling? TV? Movies? Internet porn sites?
It was convenient that he died right when he was considering not rolling over again! Funny how "lucky" the clinton's are and their friends aren't??
I still have to wonder, who will be eulogizing BJ's funeral???
Pray for W and Our Troops
If I recall correctly wasnt Jesse Jackson his counselor?
Most of what he says is just so much BS, but this explaination of his actions and reasons for not admitting to what he had done is "too much to swallow."
First, if he were at anytime concerned about his daughters respect, why did he get he make his famous "I did not have sex with that woman...." speech. Bill Clinton is only concerned about Bill Clinton. He may now realize that he would like to win a Nobel prize or get some humanitarian awards so he an delude himself into thinking that history will judge him as a great man, rather than a deeply flawed and corrupt man.
One of the greatest suprises for me has been that more stories of his corruption have not been told since he lost power. Considering all the women he alledgedly raped, I would have expected much more dirt to have come out about him.
