The S. Korea government has confirmed the hostage has been killed. His body has been recovered.
" WE MUST DESTROY THEM NOW. Our weakness will be our downfall....."
All eyes are on our President right now.
And he better not send out Cheney with any of this "We will find them one by one" crap.
Maybe this will wake them from their slumber.
"Good time to release Tiger Division."
It will never happen. The ROKs are good troops, but their government will never put them into any kind of combat role in Iraq.
"Korea better come into this fight swinging like crazy and backing us up now."
Wishful thinking. The S.K. government will never put the ROKs into a combat role in Iraq.
"The Middle Ages, and even the Dark Ages await us if we lose. Barbarians are at our gates. If we lose this war, we lose civilization."
Yup.
....none of your damned business. I'll not risk his life or the lives of other brave service persons over there. I don't really care if you believe me or not...that's your problem, not mine.
Yeah, our pulling out of Fallujah was one huge mistake, and it was a mistake born out of political correctness. If we have to fight a war with one hand tied behind our backs by political correctness, then it's better to not fight the war at all. War is a no-nonsense action. It's for all the marbles, and we must engage in it ruthlessly to end it as quickly and as cost-effectively (to our side) as possible. If that means killing scores of the enemy and their neighbors who either shield them or allow them to operate, then so be it. And if we are not committed to fighting to win, then we have no business fighting to begin with.
The ROKs are good troops, very disciplined. Their government is weak, though, and gets weak in the knees on a regular basis (although they do actually get into some interesting fist fights in their parliament building). While the ROKs may be eager to tear into the islamists in Iraq, their government will not be, and it will not allow them to tangle with the 'slimes.
You may want to consider that these are the same people that supported Hanoi Jane. The more things change the more they remain the same.
And thats when its way too late. Good point.
Well, that's good news for the terrorists. Angry, hard core ROKs looking for revenge are the last those islamopukes want to see.
I see Greg Packer was the 'first' to comment on your blog.
I like your sense of humor.
That's too bad. I was hoping that the Korean government would let their troops loose on these b@sta@rds.
I've seen some memorable footage of their parliament meetings :-)
Those who still carry the spirit of Jean l'Arc and LaFayette !
Our civilization is worth fighting for; we've been praying that the French will see that and join the fight.
I have some ultra-leftist-pacifist relatives too.
They almost went into appoplexy when I stated that some killing is moral.
I follow that up with the question that if their child is being mugged, should I show up with a protest sign ?
Greg Packer came highly recommended by the New York Times. ;^)
LOL! And of course by both Clinton authors as their intrepid #1 in line book purchaser!
Clinton fan Greg Packer, who had camped out since 4 p.m. Monday, was first in line, he said, to get a copy for his father's 80th birthday.
Good to see he's still "in the business".
LOL!
'Body counts'of innocent victims, left in the 'wake of the Left' are never a consideration. The millions of lives lost under the tyranny of Left-wing idiology seems never to impact the conscience of the collective Left.
But that raises the question - long debated; as to whether these people have any conscience. . .the evidence thus far in history, offers a bleak 'no' . . .
