Oh, and btw, taking out their cities would include their leaders. Yeesh.

Not to mention a lot of these:

Stop trying to justify atrocity.

I'm pretty sure that it's no newbie, it's a full-blown troll. It's the "get the freepers arguing with each other" approach.

"If anything the initial public reaction I have seen, is to want to retreat from Iraq (based on what I've read on chat board activity), and not be linked to the US effort there."

Thank you so much for your informative posts and the pictures of his family. It is heartbreaking.

Please keep us informed!

If it were me, I would rather be feared than loved. Remember right after the takeover of Iraq, BUSH was feared. Now, Bush tries to be loved. Look where it has gotten him??? No one gfears him, and less and less people love him. Machiavelli was right then, and is right now. As the prince, Bush must take agressive fear inspiring action. Forget love and negotiation, we need to steam roll these people and send them cowering into their holes.

In hindsight that was a poor decision and should only been done when the ship was heading home.

Oh my!

The Lincoln was headed home. The Mission Accomplished sign was for the troops on the Lincoln.

They'll behead women and children if they don't get the reaction they want. This is the direct result of Vietnam and the perception that if you drip, drip, drip American casualties, America will lose heart and get out. Kerry and his RAT pals should hang their heads in shame. The problem is either we fight the war over there, or here in the US. If Kerry got in, God forbid, we'd be attacked morning, noon, and night, no matter what concessions he granted to Muslims and the UN. Of course, it would all be Bush's fault. Did anyone see the cover of the New Yorker magazine today? A ten dollar bill with Ray Charles's face. I presume this is a slap at Reagan. I'm foaming at the mouth over that.

let them go. south korea can pull out of iraq, and we can pull completely out of south korea. let them deal with the north koreans. if they think the beheading of one south korean is bad, let's see what they say when the butchers from the north start coming across the DMZ.

Many people here on FR nostalgize back to the good old days in Vietnam...

Judging by comments on this thread, too many people here on FR overreact in the exact opposite direct from the way the Spanish and probably the South Koreans overreact. Where they want to cut and run, too many here want to nuke the entire Middle East.

That picture is interesting. The girls will grow into burka wearing slaves to hedonistic men who treat them like dirt. And who knows if one of those boys might be the next OBL. I am sorry to feel this way right now, but the terrorists of today once probably looked like those in the picture. I think we need to take what Israel has done and magnify it by 25 fold. They have the right idea.

Either they have never read the Koran or the Sunnah, or they have and deliberately fail to report events in the context of Korannic knowledge.
