I'm pretty sure that it's no newbie, it's a full-blown troll. It's the "get the freepers arguing with each other" approach.
sadly, it appears to be working. Most trolls don't wait 6 weeks before showing their colors, though. I think he (that would be you, C4B) just let his entirely justifiable anger get in the way of his reading and comprehension skills.
C4B, I've made a few of those "posts I wished I thought about more before hitting send" as well.
