indeed, but don't underestimate him and his wife and the ability of the sickos in the media from making them into gods in the minds of the sheeple. Gore was essentially running for Clinton's third term, and even amidst all the scandals and what he did to devalue the office of the presidency - Gore won the popular vote. Clinton's approval numbers have risen since he left office.
Cal Thomas said it best this week on FNC: Clinton is popular because he is a mirror on the American society: narcisisitic, only interested in himself - the idol of the "me" generation, its all about their wealth, their pleasures, their lives, their desires (sex, drugs, etc).
Clinton is the prototype for a very significant percentage of Americans, perhaps even a majority, we'll know in November.
