A CBS-New York Times poll unveiled on CBS' ``Saturday Early Show'' said 57 percent of Americans would not consider voting for Clinton if he was allowed to run for a third term, while 39 percent said they would consider it.

Never let it be said we're not a country with short memories. Foxnews showed a recent poll where slick willy's popularity rating is at 53%.

Is this the interview where Clinton says, in response to why people hated him:

"When the Berlin Wall fell, the perpetual right, who always need someone to hate, chose me."

My goodness. There really is no limit to Clinton's narcissism, is there?

thanks....the other day after it was announced that the federal government was being shut down to honor RR, i never saw such anger in my life. i've worked for the federal government since i was 18 years old - and i'm 54 now - and been very proud ot it. my dad retired from the usaf and then worked for the government as a civilian, my brother served in the usaf for 4 years ( to include 3 in se asia) and is now a postal employee (who happens to work his a$$ off 10-12 hours a day, 6 days a week) and all of us are republicans....ok, enough of that gripe....i love this country....and i'm proud to work for my government - even though i have to swallow the bile when it's someone like Klintoon who is in the white house....

I think it is absolutely disgusting thta this interview was aired today of all days, FATHER'S DAY. Big Bubba wanted to be remembered as Big Daddy, I guess.

There is something that resembles a transcript of the interview on CBS 60 mins website. It's not verbatim, but FWIW......

Clinton: "Only a fool looks not to explain his mistakes."

Rudyard Kipling surely would call him a fool. Read the poem (I forget the exact title) about how if one keeps to one's self the fact of failure and "...then, son, you will be a man."

Did she say that about her son? Unbelievable.

He must be very disappointed in his mother. He deserves better.

Actually, I think most Presidents do have the replica. I saw LBJ's and have heard that Reagan has one.

Many thanks for sharing.

And then Nangle announced that he was considering holding Mandanici in contempt of court. What is paramount is not whether or not Nangle followed through with contempt, but the emotional showdown Mandanici suffered. Beautiful! BTW, last I heard Julie Hiatt Steele was in dire financial straits. Where the heck did she get $$ to bring suit against Judge Starr?

I will never forget finding Rush on the radio. Even more than his opinion, I was thrilled to hear people from all over the country who agreed with me.

Yeah, I remember what it was like, first hearing Rush. I thought he was a total fruitcake. I only kept listening because he was the ONLY major media person I had ever heard who was pro-life.

That was (my goodness) 13 years ago.

Now, I'm considering joining 24/7, since I can no longer listen to his show live, except for less than an hour a day.

Absolutely.
That's 60 Minutes for us.
Totally disregard Father's Day
by putting that disgrace on the air.
