Don't know about the GOP having a lock on the seat but I'm voting for Herman Cain who seems to be the perfect Senate candidate: Republican, articulate and unashamedly conservative. He would transform the Senate by demolishing all the Democratic insinuations that conservative Republican = racist.

The worst reason in the world to vote for Herman Cain is that he is black and that he will neutralize racist charges against the GOP. That won't happen; he'll just be called an Uncle Tom. The best reason to vote for him is that he is smart, articulate, and honestly conservative.
