Only when the idle minded celebrity is known for disliking America, the country that made her a star in the first place.

If this was Toby Keith, nobody would note it, unless it was in the context of "Toby Keith, noted proud American, imploded yesterday....."

If you are on record hating this administration, on record as deploring the state of affairs in America, (Natalie Maines, Johnny Depp, Susan Sarandon, etc etc etc) you get quoted heavily in the media.

If you support this administration's actions, they only report about you if it makes the administration look bad, or discredits you.

The crisis in America today isn't the War on Terror, it isn't Iraq, it isn't the Economy.

Its the Fourth Estate's blatant LYING on all fronts. Its starting to scare the hell out of me to be honest.

As a member of the fourth estate, I take bit of offense at that statement. Such comments are called ad populum arguments.

I have spent days checking and rechecking my facts on stores. I have every interview I have ever conducted on tape, going back almost 18 years. I don't believe I have ever lied in a story.

Please don't say ALL members of the media are liars. It is similar to saying:

All politicians are corrupt (This would include the ones you like as opposed to those you don't).

All Republicans are __________.

All Democrats are ________

All Jews are _____________

All Catholics are ___________.

All Hispanics are _____________.

All Baptists are___________.

All Muslims are ________.

All Irish are ____. These are gross generalizations and as arguments are always wrong. It only takes one member not to fit the generalization to make the entire generalization wrong.
